I have been stopping in to the shop every morning, afternoon..whenever I find an excuse to grab a quick cup of coffee. Delicious! My 4 year old son loves their Red Bean and White Bean pastries. Employees are super nice and get greeted every time I enter the doors.

I've been coming here fairly regularly for the past two years and haven't had a single negative experience. I've tried the baked goods, bingsoo of all kinds, the breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and the iced coffees and hot lattes- I've been satisfied with it all. I usually come here to study or do work; on weekdays it's quiet, but on weekends (particularly Sundays) it can get busy. There are outlets everywhere, plus free wifi. Also, the staff is always friendly and I haven't had any issues with perceived language barriers so yay for that! Most importantly- it's cheaper than the other neighboring Korean bakeries (i.e., Caffe Bene or Shilla). All in all, it's a great place. Check it out if you're in the area!

A sad bakery that does not satisfy your sweet tooth. Everything here is mediocre to pretty bad. I got their bingsoo. It had red beans, cocktail fruits, and condensed milk drizzled on it. It tasted like bingsoo I made at home when I was a child. Not saying that's a bad thing, but there was nothing special about it. Red velvet cake tasted like it was bought from somewhere. Decent cake though, but wouldn't get it next time. And macarons are sad. They looked ugly in the first place, so I should have known they were going to be a disappointment. Right when I took a bite it was way too crunchy and there was a huge gap in my macaron. Not worth your money. I should have drove a little farther to another bakery, especially because it was my bday and I wanted really good dessert. Oh wellssss:(

This is a Korean style bakery. They serve everything from cake, teas, coffee, pastries, macarons, shaved ice to ice cream. This place is a perfect spot to relax with friends and drink some tea and chat away. The atmosphere is very cute and playful. There are playful words and wall decor all along the bakery. The red velvet cake is mediocre I have a sense that they buy it from a separate vendor and sell them by the slice. Their macarons are okay. I feel like I bake better ones at home. They sell tea bags by the box. It's about five bucks for a box of tea bags. That's a good deal in my opinion. They also sell birthday cakes here so stop by if you need one. I do have to say that their birthday cakes are not super sweet, which I do not care for. I love super sweet cake. However, if sweets are not your thing, then a cake from here will be perfect. Their bingsoo (shaved ice) is awesome for a hot summer's day. My favorite is the red bean bingsoo. The red bean bingsoo they sell here is super old school. It's a replica of the type I used to eat as a child. The bingsoo they sell is not upscaled and modernized like the ones you find in other Korean bakeries. The red bean bingsoo is childhood memory heaven. I love their red bean bingsoo!

The assortment of pastries sent my sweet tooth into over drive. I opted for a tiramisu with a white chocolate soy mocha. Although the tiramisu was the absolute best ever, my soy white chocolate mocha was off. I am not sure if it was the soy milk or the white chocolate, but something tasted old. I had to throw it out. I will return, but I am sticking to a simple coffee or better yet, water.

Customer service has been mediocre lately, and why are they hiring teeny boppers all of a sudden... Staff turnover is bothersome these last few months, because my coffee drinks are now pretty inconsistent. This past week I also found out they have been substituting skim milk for 2% (without asking the customer is totally wrong). Sorry, but there IS a difference... At least Shilla next block over tells me they're sorry and are out of something, instead of just making the decision to substitute on their own. Bon Appetite also substitutes a certain bread as a sandwich side, if they've run out of potato chips - but they don't tell you that until the food is out... and the customers I've seen just let it go - or question the side sub after the waitress has left... Their mocha bubble smoothie is good (pre mixed) but still - very good compared to other flavors of bubble smoothies... Bubble smoothies just all seem to be pretty crappy on Rt. 40, so I wouldn't get their fruit ones... But their boboa is consistent.

One of my favorite Korean bakeries in the area. I like that it's not a chain like some if the others. My favorites are the rotiboy and mocha bread. Also love their green tea bingsoo and red bean bingsoo. Coffee is not that great though. Environment is mostly good for studying, but the music can get really loud and a little annoying because the speakers are very low quality.

I haven't been to shilla bakery so I can't comment on how it compares but I enjoy coming here to grab coffee or a pastry treat. The croissants have always been fresh and tasty. The coffee is self serve and there are a variety of creamers to choose from, which is nice. It's a very convenient location for those that live off centennial lane. I also really like the decor... The fake tree kind of makes you think you're studying outside?... They sell whole cakes, Popsicles, macarons and other baked goods. Give it a try if you're in the area!

We got our wedding cake here. Their price can't be beat. A 4 tier cake was 475 vs another baker wanted 1400. They delivered to the hotel downtown at no extra cost. Just make sure you give them a picture with multiple angles of the cake and a true representation of the colors you want. They are great at replicating what you want if you give them clean concise directions.

Date: 06/08/2013 $4.50 per smoothie The smoothies at Bon Appetit Bakery were by far the worst smoothies I have ever tasted in my life. We ordered the following: 1. blueberry smoothie 2. kiwi smoothie 3. mango smoothie The smoothies contain no real fruit; and if the menu said it does, it is so watered down and masked with the powder flavoring. We literally ended up tossing the smoothies out after taking a sip. Waste of money!

Bumping it up to two stars! Since my initial review with the moldy box, I've had another bad experience and next two were decent experiences. The second bad experience was that the guy charged me all sorts it amounts for two different types of bread. I got three varieties (small pastries and a loaf) and the pastries were all the same price and the loaf was more, but he rang them up with at least four different prices total. I'm not surprised, given that none of the products have any prices (not even with a little price sticker gun) directly on them. Maybe it's management's way of hoping to make more money by tricking their customers - who knows. Third time around, the guy - different than the previous time - was nice enough to get me the slice way in the front (it was prettier) and did everything correctly. The most recent time I went was a few weeks ago. We debated going to Shilla but it seemed just too expensive. We were glad we picked Bon Appetit as their macarons are quite cheaper than Shilla's. I love their strawberry cake - which Shilla didn't even have! Added some green tea and it was perfect.

Bakery/cafe setting with a variety of desserts, beverages, and baked goods to choose from. Great place to hang out & relax with friends due to being less crowded than other bakeries.

I just returned a take-out coffee binsoo. It seemed like it was already made before and went into a frig. after it was melted. Banana was rotten, ice cream tasted weird and corn flakes, banana, crushed ice were already mixed, which means it was prepackaged, melted, and re-freezed.

My boyfriend and I have been going to Bon Appetit for about 4 years now and I just have to say hands down, it is the best bakery in Ellicott City. I know there are many other bakery/cafes popping up around but Bon Appetit has always had yummy, fresh, Korean bread for reasonable prices and the best bingsoo and bubble tea compared to all the new places! 1. Bon Appetit has genuine workers that really know how to make the bingsoo and bubble tea! Delicious every time! They really give you value for your money! Other bingsoo places offers all ice and no taste, but Bon Appetit green tea bingsoo is composed of so much ice cream, mochi, bananas, frosted flakes etc. Delicious! They really do not skimp on the ingredients! 2. Bon Appetit atmosphere is always relaxing and calm. The hype of all the new bakeries gets old after a while and sometimes you want some peace and quiet. Bon Appetit offers that mood each time! 3. Reasonable prices! Compared to all the other bakeries they have a wide selection of bread for comparably fair prices! They do what they know best! Disclaimer: I just want to say I do not work there or know anyone who works there. This is a genuine experience my boyfriend and I have had! We just appreciate a good place!

Interesting concept. The items are organized like its a gallery, and the ambiance is of an old oreintal shop, but than they have all the american sweets that you'd want. I recommend their chocolate mousse which is delectable. Also, people like their bubble tea

    (3)
  • Amelia L.

Five stars for their fresh cream cake!! Unlike all the American heavy flavored cake, their cake is light, fresh, sweet, and satisfies all my buds. Fell in love with first bite... Did bought some other pastries which are just so so. But I would still give a high score since it's really enjoyable having a light sweet cake in the U.S. Wish I could be closer to Ellicot City!!!

Nice spot for your Green Tea bobo/bing-soo/parfait kick. I love these types of bakeries as they aren't overly sweet.

Oooo I like this place. I file this under cute, girly places to come with a gaggle of girlfriends and talk about giddy topics until you get hungry. And then scuttle out for korean food (pretty much all around the area). Yes, it's very close to Honey Pig :) Love the spread of bakery options arranged on wooden shelves--giving that homey, bakery feeling of being surrounded by pastries. Bing soo (shaved ice), bubble tea, sandwiches, etc--lots of options! Cakes were delectable; perfect asian-style, mild tasting cake. Got the mango mouse and strawberry cake. Went down smooth. Could they just serve ramen and become the perfect one-stop-shop??! There's some seating on the side--I'd say it's suitable for small groups of no more than 5-6 people. There's also outside seating good for 1-4 people at a time. Maybe you've picked up the theme by now: cute. And sweet :)

Having travelled to Seoul and experienced authentic Korean baked goods I can say that this bakery is awesome. The baked goodsx sandwiches even their espresso is fantastic. And the best part is the amazing service.

  • Shiehan C.

Not bad for a Korean bakery, I think it might be the only one in the area with a good seating area. There's a good selection of pastry and bread choices, although they definitely cater more to Asian tastes. Their dessert selection is pretty good too, if a bit pricey. I've enjoyed their chocolate eclairs, raspberry mousse, mocha cake, and marble cake. I also liked their green tea bingsoo, although I was a bit baffled about the cornflakes. Finding the place and parking can be a bit tricky at times. The address says Baltimore National Pike (Route 40), but it's actually accessed from Frederick Road behind Route 40.

Even with the friendly staff, visual cleanliness, decent seating area, and good tasting food I'm trying to like this place. Why? Trip one two hot dog rolls = time on throne. Trip two of two Reuben = time on throne. I now note another rater mentioned mold. Another reviewer mentioned mold and bugs. There might be an unseen hazard here.

Days later and I am still thinking about the hot ginger tea I had here! It may have been just slightly too sweet to be absolutely perfect, but it was hot, strong, and with a perfect kick to start off a chilly morning. I was overwhelmed by the selection of sweets, so I opted for an elephant ear to snack on. I definitely enjoyed it, but next time around will have to try the curl donuts. While the bakery has an ample amount of seating, I did find it a bit odd that half the chairs were too high for the tables they were paired with. One could not feasibly get their legs under the table, which was slightly annoying. I am excited to make my way back here to get more of that ginger tea. That alone would be worth the trip. But there's a plethora of treats to try and I look forward to finding my favorite ones.

Loved the cream-filled Soboro and coffee. Bon Appetit is in a small off the road location, but worth finding. Missy bought up all her favorite asian pastries that she can't find in North Carolina and we spent two hours catching up with her friend over coffee in comfy chairs. This place has more of a coffee shop feel than its neighbor, Shilla. Did not seem busy, which is great if you're here for reading or homework. We were here from 8 to 10pm on a Tuesday night.

Love the green tea bingsoo!!!! Their macarons are a little off though..

I absolutely am in love with this place! They have the most moist bread and so many choices to pick from! I recently went in and tried their green tea bingsoo (korean ice cream) and it was just amazing! A wonderful bakery/cafe shop!!

  • Chris P.

Baked goods are pretty good. The shaved ice is decent. However, the bubble tea I had last time was absolutely horrible. Most bland bubble tea I've ever had. Basically tasted like shaved ice with a few drops of fruit syrup

I usually stop in on weekday mornings on my way in to work for a latte and a baked good or two. Always greeted with a smile and exceptional service. Came in today on a Sunday afternoon for a coffee date with mom and had my usual latte. Mom ordered a Turkey wrap and I had an egg & cheese on croissant. Mom raved that the greens in her wrap were fresh and everything is reasonably priced! The folks that patron this cafe/bakery are a good mix of people and seating is plenty. Did I forget to mention they have fresh baked goods, too! :D

Best place for bingsoo and Korean baked goods!

  • Rebecca P.

I have been here twice and definitely would frequent more often if i lived in the area! Their macarons are pretty decent, for less than a dollar each, the price reflects the quality. Not all the cookies are consistent in size, but the taste and texture is right. splurge and try all the flavors haha. I realllly like that their popsicles are made in house and the play on "Ice Bar". Their pastries are comparable to Shilla Bakery's. :D I really like how even old people, can be seen hanging out here late at night (old people go to sleep at like sundown right?). It's definitely a chill spot to hang out in. Props to their bathroom! looks really clean and appropriately decorated!

Hidden Korean bakery in Ellicott City. I'm not familiar with Ellicott City as well as others, so I'm not sure if this is necessarily sure if this is the best bakery, but I do know that there are a million Korean bakeries in the area. I was told this one is as good as the Shilla Bakeries; they do have fresh baked cookies, breads, and cakes like very typical Asian/Korean bakeries. Most people I saw here on a Friday evening came as a family to share bing soo or came here to sit and study. We ordered the kiwi and taro smoothies, a chocolate macaroon, and a raspberry jam cookie. The kiwi smoothie is tart but tasted like they used real kiwi, with bits of kiwi seeds in every sip. The taro smoothie on the other hand was creamy and light, but sadly, tasted like powder mix. The chocolate macaroon and raspberry-jam cookie were very fresh, I would've liked them both to be softer to the taste. If I come back to the area, I would def visit this place again.

My girlfriend and I went there for a girly afternoon dessert date. She was intrigued by the different Korean pastries and breads. We enjoyed the macarons but loved the "homemade" ice pops even more. They were fruity, inexpensive, and quite refreshing. The prices for bakery items and the other foods are a little expensive for my taste, but it's definitely worth it every once in a while!

Bon Appetit is a Korean style bakery in Ellicott City. Despite it being right off of Route 40, it's a little hidden and hard to see. But it's worth searching for. It's a fairly new, cute cafe...it's perfect for a date or just sitting around with a cup of coffee, pastry, and a newspaper. They have a bunch of Korean style pastries which look (and, for the most part, taste) great. There's a pretty large variety of items to pick from. They range from savory to sweet. But in my opinion, Korean-style baked goods are at their best when sweet. The savory ones are more hit-or-miss. However, I usually just come here to have the bingsoo, which is Korean shaved ice. Theres usually a variety of toppings (sweet rice cakes, fruits or sweet red beans, condensed milk, etc...) and it's a great item to have on a hot day. Considering it's getting later and later into fall, I suppose the prime bingsoo season is ending but if you're curious, it's still worth a try. There's different flavors of bingsoo, including red bean and mixed fruits. The fruit one tends to be a little lighter than the red bean. But if eating cold desserts during cold weather isn't your thing, you can always grab some pastries and coffee here too.

Great place to just sit and relax with friends. Their bread is always fresh and get some green tea ice cream on a hot summer day. And they got free wifi. Its like an asian starbucks but better cause they have ice cream and pastries. If you get coffee its free refills. Gotta love their style in music. Depending on time of day.. theyll habe classical music for the older crowd and todays hits for the younger generation of kids at night. They have cute little baskets when shopping for bread. They have outdoor seating and they open pretty late on weekends. With cute bathrom doors that are painted blue and pink. Only down fall is location and parking. Its rather hidden and hard to see. The bank across the way has taken control of the parking lots so there is limited parking.

This is a cute little bakery off Rt 40. I had bought a fruitcake here once and it was pretty good. They have your typical Korean bakery items, as well as bingsoo (haven't tried this yet), breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The staff here is friendly and they have a nice seating area, perfect for meeting up with friends and catching up.

  • Yaka H.

This Korean bakery aspires to be Shilla Bakery (Rockville, MD and Annadale, VA), but it just misses it's goal by a few notches. This place has a seating area to meet and chat with friends over a cup of coffee, share bingsoo with friends, or just chow down on little individual cakes, or breads. However, the quality of the cakes, breads, cream puffs, etc., leave just a bit to be desired. There are some uniformity issues amongst the little individual cakes that need to be corrected (some of the mousse cakes are larger than others, have more details than others of the same kind). Some of them just don't look like they were made that day; look like they might have been sitting there for a bit and look a bit tired. However, the ones that I did get tasted fine and were packed in a cute little take away box.

    (3)
  • K C.

I love this bakery! If the breads were made less sweet, I would definitely give this a 5 star for my taste. Compared to the newer Korean bakery Shilla, the variety of breads offered by Bon Appetit actually taste very unique from each other. My personal favorites are the Mocha Bread (~$3.50) and the Roti Bread (~$2). Why not give them a try?

Such a cute place! I was very happy that my husband found this place on yelp. It's very pink on the inside, and i loooove it =) Lots of different selections of pastries and desserts. Now, if you're going to compare it to korean bakeries in nyc, then you will be disappointed... but there's not many of these in MD, so I was very happy with what they had. We ordered shaved ice (red bean). So good! Not the best... but hey, this isn't NYC or Annandale, VA... The mochi pieces were huge, as well as a good serving of red beans, watermelons, and a few other fruits. Definitely thumbs up =) Bottom line: a must go if you are craving for some good pastries and desserts! =) YAY!

I made my first visit here yesterday. I like this bakery more than La Boulangerie (near Lotte on Rt 40) b/c it offers a little more selection on items and it is just more spacious. Like La Boulangerie, it is a Korean bakery, but a more "modern" (not the word I'm looking for, but I mean it carries more than glutinous rice based items, or fruit/nut based desserts, etc.) one in that it has breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies, and many with japanese and french influence. From the items there that I have tasted, it is quite good. They also offer samples of some items, so you can try before you buy. This place reminds me a little of Shilla Bakery in Virginia, but on a smaller scale. I like this place, and will be back.

Nice Korean bakery in Ellicott City. A much closer drive from Baltimore then Annandale, VA. A decent selection of pastries. Reasonable pricing.

Alas! Welcome to the cafe/bakery which has become a staple establishment for Ellicott City suburbanites galore! Mothers love it (it's quiet) and Koreans loiter in it (nice, clean atmosphere, usually in the evening). I personally love the twisted doughnuts, croquettes, and milk bread. Bread prices are reasonable, and the sandwiches aren't half bad! They also serve bubble tea/smoothies, but I've had much better (unfortunately there is no other local bubble tea place); they are usually way too sweet. They open early which is great when you're a commuting student like me. I'd usually pick up a couple croquettes and maybe a dessert bread. Mmmm....now I want a croquette.

We came here for dessert. I liked the atmosphere. They had a good selection of baked goods and patbinsoo especially looked good (and large).

I've been here once before, but didn't ever find it noteworthy, so I've never returned. Today, I happened to be at the CVS right behind the bakery, so I decided to give the place another try, despite the meh reviews. The hubby and I got a pizza baguette and ordered an iced white mocha. The baguette was way too doughy and chewy, and tasted old. They brought us out an iced mocha, and when my hubs told them he ordered an iced white mocha, they stared at us like we were crazy and asked "well, what do you want us to do?" (I know for a fact he ordered the white mocha because I was thinking "OOOH, he's gonna have the runs tonight" when he said the words "white mocha"out loud to the girl at the register, HAHA) We asked for the drink we ordered, the server reluctantly agreed, and came and slammed our drink down at our table. We won't be wasting our money here anymore!

  • Jenn Y.

Love their Blackmilk bubble tea! Seems like people aren't really a fan of the smoothies. I can't say much for the other flavors but I only order Blackmilk bubble tea and it is my favorite! My friend also ordered the Chocolate Parfait the other day and it looked pretty good. We also ordered the tiramisu which was alright, but tasted nothing like tiramisu (just tasted like....sweet cream and chocolate) The bread however is delicious, never experienced any mold with their bread.

    (4)
  • Jon S.

Well presented baked goods, but the texture is just not my style for cakes. Too fine/spongy - all of the cakes remind me of the frozen/thawed Pepperidge Farm cakes you buy in the freezer at the grocery store. Are these baked items made in house? I would suspect not, but I have never asked. My kids like them however.

  • Riley K.

I would say Bon Appetit has some of the best bread of the bakeries in rt. 40 and the other surrounding ones. I especially love their pizza bread! Tastes so good! I really also like their green tea bingsoo and smoothies. Everything is priced affordably. Would recommend!

    (5)
  • Lynie H.

Coffee, baked goods, bing soo-shaved ice, and the ice cream sticks are delish! Haven't had the bubble tea so can't comment on that. It's a little smaller sized store than Shila Bakery down the street but still basically the same stuff :-)

    (4)
  • Connie L.

green tea bingsoo = yummm probably the best korean bakery in the area

    (4)
  • Joy S.

Should've checked the reviews before purchasing. Agree with the other reviewer about smoothies/boba. $4.50 for one with horrible taste and hard boba...very disappointed. Did just what the other review said/did, took a couple sips and tossed the rest out. Waste of money. The couple stars are for the attentive customer service, selection of available pastries, and free wifi. Probably not worth coming back, though.

Bon Appetit Bakery & Cafe has burst on the scene with sweets, bread and sandwiches, although it is all but hidden from Rte 40 in Ellicott City. The new bakery offers up a Korean-tinged variety accessible to anyone. Sweets for a snack. Cakes for a special occasions. Sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. And there are red bean donuts. Oh, I love red bean sweets, and Bon Appetit's rice donuts are bulked-up donut holes -- a really nice balance between the filing and the surrounding fried dough. Check out Bon Appetit because you can't go wrong. The sweets are terrific. Madelines, donuts, mnju, and three kinds of castella. The last two are Japanese pastries, although I only learned that on Wikipedia. Bon Appetit could use some explanations -- a few lines about each variety to tell you what you can buy. The cakes are obvious. An entire case is filled with formal-looking cakes and tortes. I assume they're a Korean style because I have seen similar ones at La Boulangerie and the bakery at the front of H Mart. Those would make a birthday or an office party. My wife doesn't like cake, so I have never bought one yet. But the rest of the place is definitely a chance to explore. On Sunday, they were offering green tea donuts. Not my favorites, but certainly something to try. Much of the items are individually wrapped, so you can grab one to try. This time, I tried lightly-salted bread sticks that were crisp and perfect with soup, Next time, I'm going to get the cookies that look like smiley faces. On top of all the sweets, you can also get sandwiches or bubble tea. You can also get breakfast sandwiches, and the egg sandwiches were cheap. From the effort put into the pastries, I assume that they're paying attention to all those items as well. I'd love to hear if you lunch there. (Update: One thought. I have to be honest that you can go wrong with some of the savory breads. They were tasting a "pizza baguette" that didn't thrill me. Not terrible, but you should eat sweets at Bon Appetit and get your pizza elsewhere.)

  • Sophia L.

The pastries and bread are delish. I bought a birthday cake (the blueberry cake) this past weekend for my mom's bday and the cake was okay, not the best at Bon Appetit. Also, their sandwichs were good with the right amount of meat too! I enjoyed the green tea mousse cake with coffee as well. And if your still not convinced the korean style ice cream is yummy. Its pronounced in English 'paht bing soo', the coffee flavor is my fav!!

This bakery offers the biggest selection of Korean style pastries in the area. Taste of its pastries does not compare to Shilla but still pretty decent. Price seems to be more reasonable than Shilla as well. You just have to try different pastries there to determine your favorites/staples. I usually just grab and go so I have not got to try their coffee drinks, cakes, or menu items there. No molds/bugs in my pastries so far and I've been coming here once a week in the past months.

  • Linda L.

Not as good as Shilla or other Korean-style bakeries in NoVA or MoCo but their bread/pastry selection is decent. The breads and cookies on the tables generally look and taste fresh, but the cakes in the chilled cases look like they may have been sitting there for a while. They recently started making and selling their own popsicles in a fridge next to where they sell bottled drinks. I only tried the coffee flavored popsicle today since I was craving iced coffee, but I definitely want to try their other flavors, especially red bean. There are various other fruit flavors as well. Oh also, they have a pretty decent-sized bubble tea/smoothie menu. I can't speak for the bubble tea since I have yet to order it, but I tried someone else's smoothie with boba today and it was delicious.

This place is good if you want to make a quick pit stop and is also cozy place to sit down and enjoy a snack with some friends. They offer a wide assortment of Korean/French-style pastries, decent sandwiches, and pretty standard coffee. Their Pat Bingsoo (a Korean dessert made with sweet red beans, ice, and a variety of other ingredients) is reasonably priced and big enough to share with a few other people but it's not the best I've ever had. The price is good and so is the service. My family of four stopped by one morning to get breakfast, coffee, and sandwiches for lunch and the total was about $31. The lady forgot to toast one of our breakfast pastries for a few minutes so she apologized and offered us a free bag of shortbread cookies. However, since this is a Korean-run and Korean-oriented establishment as are many other places in Ellicott City, there may be a lot of Koreans hanging around during certain times so be prepared.

Korean style bakery. There's loss of variety (I'm not Korean, though). It's a little on the pricey side, but the good is good. I used to study here, which isn't ideal, because a lot if people would come to chit chat and the korean pop music can get loud. I like that, so I didn't mind. Free wifi and good coffee.

Great pastries and desserts-many Asian recipes. Very intriguing and different tasting. My favorites were: pumpkin cake with nuts and raisins, red bean donut holes with walnut and coconut like cake. The turkey wrap was good, but the chicken Philly on a roll was excellent. Great little find for lunch or coffee/dessert. Very good!

I love our little neighborhood bakery! Walking in there is always delightful -- the smell, the layout of the baked goods, and the very friendly folks working the counter. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review? Their coffee. Definitely not great coffee...I enjoy the lovely Korean teas, however, especially the Ginger Tea, which is not an every day item here in the States! **tip: get the acorn squash bread. You will NOT regret it!!!**

I called them to order a last-minute birthday cake and they kindly told me they needed more notice than a couple of hours but then graciously offered to doctor up one of the cakes they made that day. They even offered to give me candles for the cake. When I paused to count the candles, they smiled and said, "Don't worry! It's free!" It turned out beautifully and tasted amazing, a classic low-sugary tasting Asian cake with fruit and whipped cream frosting.

Their macarons are delicious! Crunchy shells and soft-but-chewy insides, and delicious sweet buttercream in the middle. Their other pastries also look nice and tasty... will definitely be back to try them out....

I usually don't write reviews for anything. My friends and I decided go yelp a bubble tea/pastries place to eat at. We found this place with 4 stars and thought that we would give it a try. Between the 4 of us, three of us ordered smoothies because they RAN OUT of bubble/boba/ whatever you wanna call it AND yogurt. The smoothies were not mixed well, all three were full of CHUNKS of ice. It isn't like we all ordered the same drinks; we all ordered different ones. (Green tea, mango and taro) So I thought that I would try their thai tea latte since all the smoothies didn't look so appealing. As soon as I took a sip, I wanted to spill it out right away. The ratio of "Thai tea" to sweetener or whatever was 20 % to 80%. It did not taste like what the menu said it would be. It tasted like pure sweetener! like, where's the actual thai tea?! So I asked the lady if she could add more tea to balance out the sweetness, the lady responded as "we use POWDER so we can't add more tea flavor" I had to stare at her for a few minutes for her to realize that she should either offer to fix the drink or ask me to pick another one. At the end, she suggested that milk would fix the problem. So I agreed thinking that it would fix the problem since it came out of her mouth. When she handled me the drink back, my so called Thai tea latte tasted like milk. It was essentially orange milk. Would anyone want to pay 4 bucks for orange milk? I'm not pleased with the service nor quality of drinks that they served. I would not be returning nor would my friends. Go figure, that it was so dead there and that they supposedly ran out of bubbles and yogurt. That's because they're so SLOW and they can't afford to carry items that doesn't sell. Now everything makes sense.

the green tea bingsoo is AMAZINGG!!! I haven't had mold problem. I bought the Korean milk bread and it was soft and fresh! I only gave it 4 stars because they didn't turn on the heater the whole 2 hours we were there... It was FREEZING!!
